Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly will make her prime-time debut on NBC June 4 with a news magazine show, "Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly," the New York Post's Page Six exclusively confirmed on Sunday.
Kelly's show will air at 7 p.m., network sources told the newspaper, and NBC could begin running promos on Monday. Her first guests have yet to be announced, but Page Six reported earlier this month the premiere could include an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Kelly will travel to Russia June 1-3 to moderate a session with the Russian leader at his annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum where NBC executives hope Kelly will be able to secure an exclusive interview with Putin.
An interview with sportscaster Erin Andrews may also be one of Kelly's premiere guests, according to the newspaper. Andrews, a Fox Sports NFL sideline reporter, has recently been battling cancer and co-hosts ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
Kelly's Sunday evening show will run over the summer, but will take a break during football season and next year's Winter Olympics.
She is also expected to host a 9 a.m. daily "inspirational talk show" beginning in September. Shortly before leaving Fox News in 2016, Kelly published an autobiography, "Settle for More," about her rise as a major network news host.
