Musician Kanye West jumped on top of a table at a Washington, D.C., Apple store following his widely publicized sit-down with President Trump and gave an impromptu 10-minute "keynote" speech, according to a reporter with Religion News Service, per The Washington Post.

West, according to reporter Jack Jenkins, announced he had made a hat for Trump that says, "Make America Great," leaving out the word "again" because the original slogan "hurts black people." Trump's campaign slogan during the 2016 presidential election was "Make America Great Again."

Trump wore the hat, according to Kanye. The musician, before he left, said he was heading to Africa.

The pair sat down for lunch at the White House, where they talked in front of reporters about West's contract with Adidas AG, overhauling prison sentences, replacing Air Force One with a hydrogen-powered plane, and other topics.

Kanye was invited by Trump. The pair have reportedly grown close over the last year, and the president refers to Kanye as a friend.

"I like him a lot, he's been a friend of mine, I've known him for a long time," Trump told "Fox & Friends" during a phone interview Thursday. "He's a very different kind of a guy, I say that in a very positive way . . . those that are in the music business say he's a genius and that's OK with me."
