Kim Kardashian is “proud” that Kanye West is meeting with President Donald Trump Thursday, even if her hubby “isn’t the best communicator.”
Earlier this week White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that West would be having lunch with Trump on Thursday and meeting with his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, where they will discuss prison reform and gang violence among other topics, Us Weekly reported.
Kardashian told Extra she was a “proud” wife and revealed they would be having talks on “the city of Chicago and some exciting things that I feel like they have been planning, and I am really hopeful the president listens.”
The meeting will not be West's first with the president, as the two came face-to-face in a much-publicized meeting in Trump Tower in 2016 during the presidential transition.
Kardashian herself has visited the White House twice this year and said she would try to offer West some advice ahead of his meeting.
“I will try to help him communicate,” she told Extra. “I always say he isn’t the best communicator, but he has the best heart. I know what he wants to accomplish… and I can’t wait to see that happens.”
The KKW Beauty founder also addressed rumors about them moving to Chicago, explaining that they would “have a few homes” and would likely “go back and forth.”
Kanye West first revealed the news last month to crowds gathered at an event with Chance the Rapper.
“I gotta let y'all know that I'm moving back to Chicago and I'm never leaving again,” West told audiences, according to TMZ.
