While visiting his native state — and a crucial swing state in this year's election — President Joe Biden on Friday was greeted by hecklers.
According to video posted on X, Biden, heard shouts of "Loser!" while walking into the Nowhere Coffee Co. in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, just outside of Allentown. He also heard "You're a loser!" and "Go home, Joe!" from residents of an Allentown-area house as he walked into a bicycle store, the New York Post reported, citing a pool report.
Biden visited the Allentown area to tout his economic agenda and administration efforts to help small businesses.
Inside the coffee shop, Biden was seen joking with staff, saying, "My name is Joe Biden, and I work for the governor and the senator." He also joked at the media's expense while talking with a staff member at a shoe store.
"Would you give them running shoes so they can take off?" asked Biden, who has been criticized over the few interviews and news conferences he has given the past three years.
Hours after his visit, protesters opposed to Biden's support for Israel's war against Hamas terrorists vowed he would pay a price at the ballot box in November, the Post reported.
"We will remember in November," the group chanted near a firefighting training center. "No vote for genocide Joe."
