Golf great Jack Nicklaus reportedly likes what Donald Trump is doing for America — and is an enthusiastic supporter of the GOP presumptive nominee's White House bid.
In an interview on CBS
"Sunday Morning," the record 18-time major golf championship winner said of Trump, "Certainly, if he's the one that's on the ticket, I'll be voting for him."
"Actually, Donald’s terrific," Nicklaus said. "I’ve done several things with Donald. Golf courses. And he has absolutely treated me great."
"I like what Donald has done. He’s turning America upside down. He’s awakening the country."
And America needs it.
"We need a lot of that," Nicklaus said. "Is [Trump] a politician? Is he as smooth and politically correct as he should be? Probably not. But he’ll learn. He’s not stupid," Nickaus said.
"He didn’t get where he was being dumb. I like the guy. He’s a good man."
