Trump: Pelosi a 'Nasty, Vindictive, Horrible Person'

President Donald Trump ripped House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., as “a nasty, vindictive, horrible person,” after she reportedly told colleagues that she’d like to see him in prison.

“I think she’s a disgrace,” Trump told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham Thursday while in France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, in an interview that took place in front of a cemetery with the graves of almost 10,000 Americans killed in World War II.

“I actually don’t think she’s a talented person,” the president added. “I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done. She’s incapable of doing deals. She’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”

Pelosi, who is leading a congressional delegation to Normandy, declined to comment on a segment from the interview, in which Trump calls her “a disaster,” saying she didn’t want to criticize the president while outside the country.

Trump went on to call Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., a “disaster” and a “jerk,” and former special counsel Robert Mueller a “fool.” He also criticized Mueller’s “testimony,” likely referring to the public statement the former special counsel made a few weeks ago.

“Let me tell you, he made such a fool out of himself… because what people don’t report is the letter he had to do to straighten out his testimony because his testimony was wrong,” Trump said.
