President-elect Donald Trump is going back into rally mode after Thanksgiving, hosting a "victory tour" across the swing states that helped him win the 2016 presidential race, officials announced.
George Gigicos, the head of the Trump advance team, revealed plans to reporters in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York City on Thursday.
But he was quickly corrected about characterizing the events as a "victory tour" by former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.
"'Thank you tour.' It's not a 'victory tour,'" she prompted. "Thank America tour."
CNN posted a video of the announcement.
Gigicos said the tour would occur in "the next couple of weeks — after Thanksgiving" and would focus on "the swing states we flipped over."
Trump carried a slew of states expected to be close, including Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, The Hill reported.
One of the president-elect's trademarks on the campaign trail were huge rallies that attracted thousands of his supporters.
