DARPA Develops Secret Weapon to Combat Fake News

One of most secretive agencies in the U.S. government has launched a program to combat a phenomenon some people don’t even believe exists — fake news.

DARPA — the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency — has announced a project to detect whether videos or images posted online have been doctored.
