Former newspaper publisher and author Lord Conrad Black is coming to Canadian TV.
Black will co-host “The Zoomer,” an hourly newsmagazine show on the VisionTV cable network that is aimed at older viewers,
The Daily Telegraph reports.
According to its website, VisionTV is a multi-faith religious cable network based in Canada that broadcasts music, documentary, drama, comedy, and family programs.
Black, a member of the British House of Lords, is the former CEO of Hollinger International.
He will conduct feature interviews with “some of the world’s greats,” according to a statement published by The Telegraph, and will offer his views on “issues that really get under his skin.”
Denise Donlon, a former radio executive, will be Black’s co-host.
She will conduct roundtable discussions of current affairs and new ideas — and the program will be “enlivened by humor, cooking and live performances,” the statement said.
