Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is out of the hospital and plans to return to work next week, his office announced.
Grassley had been receiving antibiotic infusions at a hospital in Washington, D.C., to treat an infection, his office had said in a statement on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
At that time, Grassley, 90, was said to have been in good spirits.
Grassley, the most senior member of the Senate, has been in office since 1981.
