Most experts consider Atlanta to be the consensus favorite to land the prize of Amazon's second headquarters, a.k.a. HQ2.

Atlanta has been considered a top contender ever since an Amazon lobbyist registered to do business there in December. That caused such a stir that the company issued a news release insisting the registration was unrelated to its search for a new headquarters.
