Talk Radio Network Names Boyce President

Phil Boyce, who has been an executive for ABC Radio and Citadel, has been named president of Talk Radio Network Syndications, with duties including programming president for several of the network’s companies.

Boyce programmed stations for ABC, beginning with WJR in Detroit in 1991, moving to WABC in New York in 1995. He is credited with rebuilding the station in 1996.

He will be programming president for The Original Talk Radio Network, Talk Radio Network Enterprises, Talk Radio Network Entertainment, and Talk Radio Network-FM.

Boyce was vice president of news/talk programming for ABC Radio and later, for Citadel, where he created such hit shows as “Curtis and Kuby,” “Matt Drudge,” “Sean Hannity,” and “Mark Levin.” He also served in a dual capacity, supervising the company’s news/talk stations, including KGO and KSFO in San Francisco, KABC in Los Angeles, WBAP in Detroit, WLS in Chicago, WJR in Detroit, and WMAL in Washington, while also programming WABC in New York.
