The new Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is rounding out his top staff positions. He has announced Rick Wiley

as his choice for RNC political director,
Roll Call reports.
Wiley already has spent time at the committee, overseeing its political efforts in the West during the 2010 campaign and heading the GOP’s get-out-the-vote work in 2004.
Wiley has close ties to Wisconsin’s Republican Party, just as Priebus does. He worked as political director and then executive director of the party, before leaving in January 2007 to serve as deputy political director for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign.
Wiley, appointed last month already has hired Jeff Larson, a Minnesota consultant, as executive director, and Sean Spicer, a Capitol Hill veteran, as communications director.
