Ann Coulter to Speak at Gay Conservative Event

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter will be the featured speaker at the first annual convention of gay conservatives.

According to NBCnewyork.com, the event, called Homocon 2010, will be held Sept. 25 in New York City. It is being sponsored by the gay conservative national group GOProud.

“We wanted to have a fun party, and we couldn’t think of anyone more fun than Ann,” GOProud President Jimmy LaSalvia told NBCnewyork.com. “It’s not a policy event.”

Tickets for the event are to go on sale Aug. 20, although a specific location in New York City has yet to be announced.
