Alaska Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller will come to Washington, D.C. later this month to raise money for the campaign, sources told
The Hill. The trip marks Miller’s first stop in the nation’s capital since his upset primary victory over Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

The sources said Miller has enlisted the services of Gula Graham Group to help him raise funds. The Washington, D.C., firm has several Republicans as clients.
Energy companies, including Tesoro Corp., will likely host events as part of the fundraising effort, the sources say.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee gave $42,600 to Miller this week, NRSC spokesman Brian Walsh told The Hill.
The endorsement of Sarah Palin and backing from the Tea Party Express are credited with helping Miller defeat Murkowski, who has indicated that she might resurrect her campaign as an independent or a write-in.
