My husband and I just retired and we are looking forward to doing some traveling to exotic places. We’d like to go to Africa and Asia. With Ebola, bird flu, and other diseases over there, are there any precautions we should take before we go and when we are there?
I would recommend you consult an infectious disease doctor or government NIH travel website to find out what may be dangers in areas you are planning to visit at the time of your trip.
Then, decide if you should still go or take the trip later when the danger has passed.
Otherwise, make sure your immune system is strong and that you eat healthy foods.
Stay away from water in Third World countries, and get enough sleep and exercise.
Take probiotics, lactoferrin, and extra vitamin C when you travel to boost your immune system and protect you from disease.
Enjoy the trips and don’t worry about getting sick. If you worry, it’s not worth the trip.
