Better Sleep for a Better Life

Unless you sleep seven to eight hours a night, you will get old, sick, and lose your energy. So put sleep on the “most wanted” list and keep it there.

If you can’t sleep, don’t take sleeping pills. Instead, get your hormones balanced. It usually does the trick. Also, take supplements like calcium, magnesium, and zinc, and see how you feel in the morning.

If you really cannot sleep, then do take something like Valium, Xanax, or Klonopin, which your doctor can prescribe. Use it sparingly, and only if you wake up in the middle of the night or if you can’t fall asleep at the beginning of the night.

Go to sleep early and wake up early. Make sleep sacred and do not suffer with a snoring partner or a room that is too cluttered.

You always can have sex and then say goodnight and sleep in a different room. It’s not a sign of a failing marriage. It may be a savior for your health and marriage.
