I’m thinking of doing a juice cleanse. Do you think juice cleanses are healthy?
A: Generally speaking, I don’t think anything extreme is good for you. However, if you have been eating lots of junk food and haven’t been exercising or sleeping enough, you may benefit from a cleansing of your system.
The correct green juices and protein may help you detoxify but that is all.
If you take good care of yourself, you don’t need a juice cleanse. You can choose to drink a glass of juice or two a day, but you are best advised to keep balanced so you don’t get exhausted from the low caloric intake.
