Question: Is there any natural help for endometriosis?
Dr. Blaylock's Answer:
I recall a patient who had severe endometriosis and was told by her gynecologist that she would need a hysterectomy. But she went on a vegetarian diet and was completely cured without surgery.
Newer studies have found that an extract of green and white tea, called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) powerfully inhibits endometriosis. You can get 95 percent pure EGCG in a product called Teavigo.
Two capsules three times a day with meals should be sufficient. One should also drink strong white tea three times a day. Quercetin and DHA have also been shown to reduce endometriosis.
Things to avoid include polyunsaturated, omega-6 oils, dietary glutamate additives, and trans fats.
Ingestion of trans fats has been strongly associated with endometriosis.
