One of the greatest fears for oncologists is that a patient’s tumor will suddenly become resistant to their current chemotherapy treatment, as well as all further chemotherapy — a process called multidrug resistance (MDR). When this occurs, the cancer not only begins to grow again, it grows much faster and becomes more aggressive.
What’s more, because chemotherapy has already damaged the patient’s immune system and weakened the other cells and tissues in the body, they are likely to die quickly once this resistance occurs. No drugs have been discovered that can reverse the MDR process. However, a number of plant flavonoids can reverse MDR and make a tumor once again highly vulnerable to death:
• Curcumin
• Quercetin
• Ellagic acid
• Vitamin D3
• Kaempferol
Using these natural plant extracts along with conventional treatments also allows patients to use chemotherapy agents in much lower doses, with equal effectiveness. This reduces the side effects of the chemotherapy such as progressive heart failure, kidney damage, nerve damage, and brain injury. (For more information on fighting cancer, read my special report
"Prevent Cancer Before It's Too Late.'')
When I have used these treatments along with chemotherapy, patients remained free of the usual nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea that most experience when undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
