Controlling High Blood Pressure

Russell Blaylock, M.D. By Tuesday, 09 January 2024 04:33 PM EST Current | Bio | Archive

Most cases of high blood pressure (also called hypertension) can be corrected with diet alone. The DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet was designed for this purpose.

Salt is a problem for certain types of hypertension, but even then should only be moderately reduced. Several natural compounds have been shown to lower elevated blood pressure, especially when they’re used together. The most important of these compounds are:

• Hesperidin

• Hawthorn

• Nano-vitamin C

• Nano-grape seed extract

• L-carnitine

• Bonita fish protein extract (PeptACE)

But these should only be used in cases of hypertension that are resistant to dietary control.

To begin, combine hawthorn, L-carnitine (or acetyl-Lcarnitine), and nano-grape seed extract. L-carnitine is very effective for lowering elevated blood pressure and has many other benefits, including protection of the heart muscle, reduction of oxidative stress, protection of the kidneys, and improvement of endothelial function (leading to healthy blood vessels).

Nano-vitamin C reduces inflammation, among other health benefits.

Hesperidin and nano-grape seed extract also have a number of health effects beyond lowering blood pressure.

In addition, nano-triphala has a number of beneficial effects, including lowering blood pressure. One of its most impressive effects is that it greatly improves bowel movements, especially when combined with magnesium.
