Question: Are there supplements to help cure melanoma?
Dr. Blaylock's Answer:
There is no strong evidence that any natural product can cure a melanoma, but a number of studies have shown that several can reduce their invasion and growth. It is the invasion and spread of melanomas that makes them deadly.
Of all the tumors, melanomas have one of the highest immune sensitivity — meaning that your immune system can kill these tumor cells effectively. Several immune boosters, such as IP6 and beta-1,3/1,6-glucan, can enhance cellular immunity, and are the most effective against melanomas.
Quercetin, curcumin, ellagic acid, epigallocatechin galate (a product called Teavigo contain 95 percent pure EGCG), and berberine have also shown significant anticancer effects. DHA, the omega-3 oil component, also reduces the growth and metastasis of such tumors.
