Blowing Up Drug Boats Not a War Crime
Award Hegseth the Presidential Medal of Freedom
In the football movie "The Program," (Touchstone/Goldwyn/Buena Vista) stud quarterback Joe Cain injects his teammates with some testosterone.
With the game on the line, he tells them "It’s time to put the women and children to bed and go looking for dinner."
After the horrendous Biden beta male presidency, President Donald Trump is injecting some desperately needed alpha testosterone into America.
Our military is no longer a social experiment for people of 200 different genders.
The Department of Defense is now the Department of War.
And thanks to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, the military is returning to its reason for existence. As the late, great Rush Limbaugh reminded us, the military's job is to "kill people and break things." Nowhere is this return to normal more justified than in the obliteration of Venezuelan drug boats.
Democrats want to have Secretary Hegseth's neck fitted for a political decapitation.
President Trump should have Hegseth's neck fitted for the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
This would be a no-brainer if Republicans were not so scared of their own shadows.
Even in the age of Trump, some Republicans are terrified that irrelevant fossils at The New York Times may dislike them.
In the drug war, President Trump, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary Hegseth have gone on offense.
Venezuelan drug boats are being blasted into what Yosemite Sam would call "smithereenies."
Who besides the world's criminals and terrorists could possibly object to these actions?
The women and children object, and they need to be put to bed.
The women are the Democrats, and the children are the Ron Paul civil libertarians.
Putting them to bed means fighting them in the press with as much ferocity as we fight the drug boats.
Republicans are masters at winning the policy war and losing the public relations war.
The GOP still has not learned how to take the gloves off and say what needs to be said loudly and clearly.
Start with the women. It's easy to be a liberal when someone else's child is dying of Fentanyl and not your own child.
Democrats hate Trump and Hegseth more than they hate Fentanyl.
Democrats are willing to purposely lose a drug war in order to win the midterm elections.
Then turn to the children.
Pat them on the head and give them a 500-page book on the Federal Reserve to keep them occupied.
Point out that it's easy to be against blowing up drug boats when your political base is fueled by college stoners getting high and eating Cheetos.
Republicans had better not make the same mistake they always make by caving on an issue where they are completely right.
Blowing up the Venezuelan drug boats is legal, moral, ethical, and — righteous.
Fentanyl kills American children.
Blowing up the drug boats destroys the Fentanyl and saves the lives of American children.
There is no constitutional prohibition to blowing up the boats.
The Bill of Rights only applies to people on American soil.
The Bill of Rights ceases to exist for people on foreign soil or international waters.
There’s no violation of international law by blowing up the boats.
The Geneva Convention only applies to nations.
Terrorist groups do not constitute a nation.
Blowing up drug-running boats is not a war crime.
War crimes involve the killing of innocents.
If the drug boats are blown up and some survivors return to the boats to retrieve the drugs, this means the terrorism is ongoing.
Blowing up the boats a second time to finish the job and fully neutralize the threat is well within the rules of war and the laws of sanity.
Democrats will never apologize when they are wrong, but at least Republicans can stop apologizing when they are as right as right can be.
—Ignore the politics.
—What matters is policy.
—Do the right thing because it is the right thing, political consequences be damned.
Voters may even reward politicians who take principled stands on an issue as serious as preventing murdered children.
—Put the women and children to bed.
—Let the adults handle things.
—Never send a liberal to do a man's job.
Unleash our military to fight bad guys, kill terrorists, and save the nation’s children.
The drug lords are the bad guys.
The people giving the orders to kill the drug lords are the good guys.
The people killing the drug lords are the best guys who deserve consideration for the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
This is so simple that people not on drugs should easily understand it.
Give Pete Hegseth the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
