The Islamic State has created a diabolically slick and sophisticated social media campaign to recruit young people into their bloodthirsty terror group, comedian and lawyer Dean Obeidallah says.
"ISIS is different than al-Qaida in many ways. We have to be alarmed and aware of their use of social media to recruit people," Obeidallah said to Joe Concha, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"They use Twitter in a funny way, frankly, at times with hashtags, they use YouTube videos … These are produced, they're edited well."
Obeidallah, a columnist for The Daily Beast, added that a magazine produced by ISIS in English and in Arab "is really well-written with someone who understands they're writing for Western consumption.
"It's someone who has a journalistic background or PR background in the West probably, and they're writing in ways to reach young Muslims who are alienated and feel no connection to the countries they live in."
