Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has tweeted that Democratic supporters are responsible for the firebombing of the local GOP headquarters in Orange County, North Carolina on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Clinton denounced the attack on the GOP office.
Others on social media are suggesting that Republican elements were involved in the incident in order to garner sympathy and reverse their drop in the polls, as suggested by the following two tweets.
Police said that a bottle of flammable liquid was thrown through the front window of Republican headquarters in North Carolina’s Orange County and that the words "Nazi Republicans get out of town or else" were spray painted on a nearby building.
No suspects have been arrested.
