Protesters have been hitting the streets to express their anger with American financial institutions and vent their hostility toward capitalism.

Many, however, are without a discernable purpose and appear to be in it solely for the partying.

Now all could potentially become reality stars. That's because MTV's hit reality show, "The Real World," is scoping out new cast members from the ranks of those who are participating in the Occupy Wall Street protests.

The reality program's premise is to place together in a house a group of complete strangers and gawk at what happens. MTV has been airing the show for almost two decades.

An ad posted on the Craigslist website reads as follows: “MTV's 'Real World' is seeking cast members to tell their unique stories on our show. If you are over the age of 20 and appear to be between the ages of 20-24, and the description below sounds like you, we want to hear from you!”

The ad narrows the casting call by asking, “Are you a part of the OCCUPY WALL STREET movement?” It continues with, “If so, please contact realworldcasting@bunim-murray.com. Your subject heading should be YOUR NAME and WALL STREET.”

The title of the posting is “Part of Occupy Wall Street? Real World 27 Wants You! [Battery Park].”

A spokesperson for Bunim/Murray played it coy with the Los Angeles Times, characterizing the invite to participate as “a way to cast a wide net in keeping with the show's ‘tradition’ of bringing together an eclectic group of people.”

The location of the series is expected to be announced sometime in November.

We'll have to wait and see if the chosen setting ends up being Zuccotti Park.
