Baseball Hall-of-Famer Willie McCovey was among the people who received pardons or commuted sentences on Tuesday, The San Jose Mercury News reports.

McCovey, who spent most of his career as a first baseman with the San Francisco Giants, pled guilty to tax fraud in 1995 and was given probation and a $5,000 fine.

McCovey admitted to not reporting $70,000 he earned signing autographs and appearing at sports memorabilia shows between 1988 and 1990.

Fellow Hall of Famer Duke Snider, who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers, pled guilty to the same charges. Snider died in 2011.
