White Supremacists Plan Armed Protest Against Jews in Montana

The white supremacist website The Daily Stormer has announced it is organizing an armed march through the streets of Whitefish, Montana to demonstrate against Jews and Jewish businesses.

The website has led a campaign saying Jews are harming the business of prominent white nationalist leader Richard Spencer’s mother by calling for a boycott of the luxury condominiums she runs in the upscale ski resort town.

"Montana has extremely liberal open carry laws, so my lawyer is telling me we can easily march through the center of the town carrying high-powered rifles," the site says, adding that "we are going to be able to put together about 200 people to participate in the march, which will be against Jews, Jewish businesses and everyone who supports either."

The site also said that skinheads from the Bay Area would be bused in to help out with the march, which it said would take place in January before Inauguration Day.

The Whitefish Police Department told The Missoulian that it was aware of the plans of the white supremacists, but did not give any more details.

As part of a campaign of intimidation against Jews, The Daily Stormer called on readers to "take action" and posted the names, photos and contact information of several Jewish leaders with a yellow star with "Jude" superimposed on their shirts.

The Daily Stormer has also offered to call off the march if certain conditions were met, such as “a promise that any protest actions you take in the future against Richard Spencer will not involve his family members.”
