Soldiers’ Angels will give 100 severely wounded U.S. troops laptop computers Thursday to honor them during a Veterans Day commemoration in San Antonio, Texas.

Soldiers Angels, laptops, Veterans DayThe presentation will take place at the Soldiers' Angels Support Center, the organization's warehouse and support complex in San Antonio across from Brooke Army Medical Center, according to a news release.

The laptops, intended to recognize the veterans and help them adjust, are funded through the organization’s third TRIAD grant. The money goes to project Valour-IT, which provides technology to support the recovery and reintegration of wounded veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, including nearly 6,000 adaptive laptops during the past nearly six years.

Soldiers' Angels is an award-winning 501(c)(3) with hundreds of thousands of volunteers providing aid and comfort to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, and military families through a variety of hands-on projects and volunteerism. For information, call 615-676-0239.
