Sunday, 27 June 2010 09:46 AM EDT

A 53-year-old father of three was found stabbed to death in a house in eastern Pennsylvania where police discovered three other bodies.

David Zernhelt of Allentown identified his older brother, Steven Zernhelt, as one of the victims of Saturday's rampage in Northampton borough.

District Attorney John Morganelli say three men and a woman were stabbed multiple times. A suspect is in custody. State police are investigating.

Zernhelt said Sunday that his brother heard screams from his neighbor's house, ran over to help and became a victim.

He says Steven Zernhelt "died a hero." Zernhelt was a heating and air conditioning instructor. He was married with three grown children.
