HAZARD, Ky. -- Police say a doctor has been shot to death at a medical clinic in rural Kentucky.
A state police dispatcher says a suspect is in custody after a doctor was killed Tuesday at the Leatherwood-Blackey Medical Clinic in Perry County, in the southeastern corner of the state.

The clinic is owned by Mountain Comprehensive Health Corp. and a message left there was not immediately returned. The nonprofit corporation's Web site says it's one of the largest rural health centers in Kentucky.
The dispatcher did not know whether anyone else was injured or what the motive might have been.
