A New York college professor says he was passed over for promotions for being heterosexual and then was fired for complaining.
Dr. Csaba Marosan (CHUH'-bah mor-oh-SHAHN') is awaiting a hearing after investigators for the state Division of Human Rights found probable cause to support his claims against Trocaire College in Buffalo.
Marosan says his teaching contract was not renewed after he complained that administrators made comments about his Hungarian accent and promoted less qualified employees. He's since included allegations that gay staffers known as "the Merry Men" were given preferential treatment.
The college denies the claims and says Marosan was let go because his medical degree did not meet teaching requirements and there were issues with his teaching style.
