Trump Voter: I'd Believe Trump Over Jesus

A supporter of President Donald Trump said Monday that if Jesus Christ told him Trump is "with Russia," he would still "check with the president."

Mark Lee, Trump voter and owner of a pest control business, said in a CNN panel with five other Trump voters that "if Jesus Christ gets down off the cross and told me Trump is with Russia, I would tell him, 'Hold on a second. I need to check with the president if it's true.'"

Anchor Alisyn Camerota then asked: "Why do you believe Donald Trump over everybody else? Why?"

Lee said, "I believe in him. He's a good man. And he's taken so [many] shots for us."

He also said that he believes that Trump will succeed in "draining the swamp," which he describes as "the mainstream, the elites that look down on a guy like me."

Lee added, "Trump is there for the small guy; he's there for people like myself."

Camerota then noted that Trump's administration contains numerous multi-millionaires.

"I love that," Lee said. "They're not politicians. In a capitalist system, you're allowed to make money. Being rich is good."
