Forty-one percent of Americans approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing, while 59 percent do not, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll.

The results mark a new low for Trump in the poll and show a decline in his ratings for the third straight month. In October, Trump's approval rating in the poll stood at 42 percent.

Here is a breakdown of the poll results as reported by The Hill:

  • 38 percent of voters view Trump favorably.
  • 28 percent approve of the way GOP lawmakers are doing their jobs in Congress.
  • 54 percent oppose the Republican tax-reform bill.
  • 76 percent say Trump should stop tweeting.
  • 57 percent disapprove of the way Trump is handling North Korea.
  • 45 percent say the U.S. economy is headed in the right direction, compared to 37 percent who disagree.
  • 64 percent say investigations into whether Trump campaign officials had improper contact with Russia are hurting the nation.
  • 38 percent say they believe special counsel Robert Mueller has hard evidence the Trump campaign colluded with Russia; 36 percent say there is no hard evidence and 27 percent say they don't know.
  • 33 percent view Mueller as favorable, compared to 31 percent who have an unfavorable view of him.
  • 61 percent say the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee should be probed by a special counsel for any involvement in a controversial dossier compiled on Trump.
  • 65 percent say there should be an investigation into the contribution the Clinton Foundation received from Uranium One, a Canadian company that was sold to Russian investors when Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state.

"Despite a strong trip, President Trump's ratings remain at a low point for his presidency," said Harvard CAPS/Harris co-director Mark Penn. "He is holding his base, but the fratricide in the Republican Party puts a ceiling on his support — the Republican Party itself has much lower ratings than Trump as it has failed to produce for the voters."

The survey report did not include the poll's sample size or margin of error.
