President Donald Trump commended law enforcement officials on Wednesday for their "great job" in tracking down the 24-year-old man believed to be the Austin, Texas bombing suspect.

The man killed himself early Wednesday inside his car with an explosive device as police swarmed in, CNN reported.

Trump's praise for law enforcement came in tweet.

Just a day earlier Trump blamed a "very sick individual or individuals" for the series of bombings in Austin.

He had noted authorities were "working to get to the bottom of it."

According to CNN, surveillance teams had tracked the man's vehicle to a hotel outside of Austin. As the vehicle left the hotel, SWAT teams approached it and the suspect detonated a bomb, killing himself.
