If he wins the White House, Donald Trump will pick up the mantle from Ronald Reagan as America's movie-star president.
In his life before politics, Reagan appeared in some 80 motion pictures and television shows, among them "Knute Rockne All American," "King's Row" and "Cattle Queen of Montana."
As it turns out, Trump had a bit of a movie career before his run for the Oval Office.
The billionaire developer appeared in roughly 18 movies like "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," "Zoolander," "54" and Woody Allen's "Celebrity.''
On television, he's been seen in episodes of "Sex in the City," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," "Spin City," "The Jeffersons" and "The Nanny." And, of course, for years he had his own wildly successful reality show, "The Apprentice."
Trump was also seen in the steamy "Ghosts Can't Do It," with Bo Derek, Julie Newmar and Anthony Quinn. The R-rated flick contained ample nudity, although the GOP frontrunner didn't take his clothes off.
While Trump often played himself, he sometimes got into character. In "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," he portrayed Daniel Ray McLeech. And in the film version of "The Little Rascals," Trump was billed as "Waldo's dad."
Perhaps the raciest title of all of Trump's work was an episode of "Sex in the City" he appeared in. It was called "The Man, the Myth, the Viagra," although the title doesn't refer to him.
But in that episode a skirt-chaser tries to use Trump's name to pick up Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall, bragging: "Excuse me, I was so distracted by your beauty that I think I just agreed to finance Mr. Trump's next project. You owe me $150 million."
Trump's last movie was "Horroween," in which he appeared as a "Forbes Cover Billionaire." The 2012 animated film also starred retired porn star Jenna Jameson and William Shatner.
Interestingly, both Reagan's and Trump's spouses and children have appeared in movies as well.
Reagan's first wife, Jane Wyman, won an Oscar for her performance in "Johnny Belinda." His second wife, Nancy Davis, who would become First Lady, starred in the sci-fi classic "Donovan's Brain."
Reagan's daughter Patti Davis, was seen in the Sylvester Stallone movie, "Tango & Cash," and "Curse of the Pink Panther," and on TV in "Fantasy Island," "CHiPS,'' "The Love Boat" and "Vega$."
His son, Ron, was in the comedy "Soul Man," and appeared on TV in "Dream On," "Webster" and "General Hospital."
Trump's wives and children are also no slouches on the Hollywood scene.
His ex-wife Ivana has appeared in the Goldie Hawn comedy "The First Wives Club. His second ex, Marla Maples was in "Executive Decision" and "Maximum Overdrive," the latter a Stephen King movie in which she was crushed by a watermelon. His current wife Melania was in "Zoolander."
And Trump's daughter Ivanka has been seen in the TV shows "Gossip Girl" and "The Girls Next Door."
Trump certainly likes the comparisons to Reagan.
Last month, he told Fox News' Sean Hannity, "He was a Democrat with a liberal bent, and he became a great conservative ... a great president, a great leader.... He had a great heart, and I have a great heart."
