Trump to Consider Pardon of Men Convicted in Michigan Gov. Kidnap Plot

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he will look into pardons of the two men convicted in 2022 of leading a conspiracy to kidnap Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

"I will take a look at it. It's been brought to my attention. I did watch the trial. It looked to me like somewhat of a railroad job," Trump told reporters gathered in the Oval Office when asked if we was considering pardons.
