"Dearborn has made it clear: Racist bigots aren't welcomed here," protesters shouted as the outspoken anti-Muslim Pastor Terry Jones arrived at the Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Mich., on Saturday.

Jones had earlier presided over a rally against the Islamic faith,
reports The Florida Times-Union.
Afterward, as he led a march toward City Hall in the midst of the festival, he wore a bullet-proof vest and a T-shirt bearing this message: "Everything I ever needed to know about Islam I learned on 9-11."
Jones’s path was consistently blocked by protesters, and police finally intervened and took Jones and an assistant pastor away in a squad car. Six protesters were arrested.
The Times-Union spoke with 78-year-old Jones supporter Matthew Keller, who wore a T-shirt that said, “Islam is of the Devil.”
"They got to be put under control," he said. "I'm a patriot. I'm a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ above everything."
Jones drew global condemnation in July 2010 when he announced he would burn 200 copies of the Islamic holy book the Koran on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
