There are six books that President Barack Obama brought with him on his summer vacation on Martha's Vineyard, but will he be able to finish them all by the time he returns to Washington?
The Washington Post says that it will take approximately 52 hours for Obama to finish those six books, which includes:
A few of these books do contain a dose of politics in them, the Post notes. "Between the World and Me" is about race in America. It was endorsed by Toni Morrison but
slammed by Cornel West.
In "The Sixth Extinction," Kolbert makes the case for why she believes mankind is headed for its sixth mass extinction because of the way humans have changed life on Earth.
"Washington: A Life" is a biography about the nation's first president, George Washington, and is a Pulitzer Prize winner.
According to The Washington Post, it would take 52 hours to finish all six books, if Obama is able to read 20,000 words per hour. That's a lot of reading for his almost two week vacation, which he will have to fit
in between his golf games.
