Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito's office in Morgantown, W. Va, was vandalized over the weekend, WDTV reports.
Police said someone spray-painted "f—Capito, f—Capital" in black on the glass doors at the entrance at some point between midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday. The owner of the building on Donley Street has since removed the offensive language.
Capito was recently targeted in ads by a progressive group because she supported a motion to proceed to debate on the healthcare bill.
"Senator Capito just broke her promise by casting the deciding vote to repeal our healthcare," the narrator says in one of the ads.
"Because of Capito, over 100,000 West Virginians could lose their insurance.”
