Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is the star of a video released Tuesday by the Republican Governors Association.
The group's "American Comeback" project focuses on work done by Republican governors, the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
"The answers aren’t going to come from Washington," Walker, the vice chairman of the association, says on the video. "Republican governors are going to drive America’s comeback."

He also speaks of the need to stop relying on government and striving for "true independence."
"I believe the vast majority of people today who are dependent on government don’t want to be," Walker says.
"They understand just like the rest of us that true independence doesn’t come from the mighty hand of the government. It comes from that self-determination."
Walker is up for re-election next year. Former state Commerce Secretary Mary Burke has announced she will seek the Democratic nomination.
