Comedian Sarah Silverman criticized President Donald Trump at a Sunday event, saying she did not believe he would be elected to a second term as president.
"I don't think he'll be re-elected," Silverman said at the Vulture Festival L.A., according to New York Magazine.
"He doesn't understand what happiness is. If he wasn't ruining people's lives and destroying the planet, my heart would break for him.
"He's a damaged, damaged person," she added.
The comedian has discussed her opposition to Trump before. In an interview with The Guardian, she said Trump and other billionaires are "addicts."
"I do believe they are addicted to wealth… it fills an empty void," she said.
On an episode of her Hulu series "I Love You America," she said that Trump getting elected helped her to understand how those who opposed Barack Obama felt.
"I felt an actual kinship to the far-right militia person who thought Obama would end the world. It's that feeling of fear that makes us the same," Silverman said in the episode, according to The Daily Beast.
