Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is following in her father's footsteps, winning election as Arkansas' next governor Tuesday night, Newsmax has projected.

Sanders, whose father Mike Huckabee is the former governor of the state, served as former President Donald Trump's press secretary.
