Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the couple that created a stir by allegedly crashing a White House state dinner in November 2009, will apparently get away with it. The U.S. attorney’s office is unlikely to file charges against the Virginia duo, reports
Ticklethewire.com, a news service about federal law enforcement.

Some law enforcement officials disagree with that decision, Tickle The Wire reports. They reportedly considered charging the Salahis with criminally trespassing or lying to a federal agent.
But some legal experts believed from the outset that it would be a difficult case to prosecute. That’s because the couple argues they were invited to the dinner, did nothing to disguise themselves when they arrived at the White House and even posed for pictures with the vice president.
