Rush Hits Gorbachev on Obama Comment

“America’s enemies all support President Barack Obama,” said talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.

While giving a speech to Advanced Placement students at Von Steuben High School in Chicago Monday, former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev expressed his strong support and approval of President Obama, reported the Chicago Sun-Times.

“Of course, there are many people who don’t like what President Obama is doing,” Gorbachev told the students via an interpreter. “But, my opinion of him is very [favorable]. I will support him. However, there are still vested interests who want another Cold War, another arms race, weapons trade, interventions. They will not succeed.”

Limbaugh said during his radio program Tuesday that he is not surprised that Gorbachev supports President Obama, given that Gorbachev is “an environmentalist” and a “communist.”
