Twitter on Thursday reversed its ban of a link to lawyer Sidney Powell’s election website, reports Fox News.
The social media giant previously labeled the website as ''unsafe'' following her accusations of widespread election fraud.
''The URL referenced was mistakenly marked under our unsafe links policy — this action has now been reversed,'' a Twitter spokesperson told FOX Business.
The site, DefendingtheRepublic.org, was established by Powell to ''defend and to protect the integrity of elections in the United States and asks for donations to support election-related litigation.
An attempt to click on the link on Twitter was originally met with the message: "The link you are trying to access has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially spammy or unsafe, in accordance with Twitter's URL Policy."
Powell, who was recently distanced from the Trump campaign, on Wednesday filed lawsuits in Michigan and Georgia alleging election fraud.
Many news outlets have called the race for Joe Biden, but Newsmax has yet to project a winner, citing close races in key battleground states. Several states have certified the winner of the U.S. presidential election. Arizona and Wisconsin are set to do so by Dec. 1.
Powell is also the attorney for former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was pardoned by Trump on Wednesday.
