LAS VEGAS — A plane en route to Los Angeles returned to Las Vegas after a man on board made a bomb threat, authorities said.
Las Vegas police tell KLAS-TV that Spirit Flight 245 landed at McCarran International Airport around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, with police taking the passenger who made the alleged threat into custody at the gate.
Authorities are investigating the suspect, McCarran spokesman Glenn Gardener said. Gardener did not know the specifics of the alleged threat.
Authorities searched the Spirit aircraft and cleared it later Saturday.
The plane's other passengers, who were removed from the aircraft at Las Vegas, boarded another plane to Los Angeles International Airport.
No further information was released.
