President Barack Obama and Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper will permit questions from just two reporters at their joint press conference Friday afternoon, according to the White House. And reporters aren’t pleased about that,
Politico reports.

They’re upset that Obama has avoided them all week so he doesn’t have to explain his policy toward Egypt. On Wednesday, press secretary Robert Gibbs shrugged off the complaints, saying, "I think you'll get a chance likely to talk to the president later in the week when Prime Minister Harper is here."
But then White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said Obama and Harper plan to call on just one reporter each.
“We always want more questions,” David Jackson, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, tells Politico in an e-mail. "We wish the president would take more questions about Egypt and the economy."
