Alabama's Nick Saban Says He Has Tested Positive for COVID-19

Alabama football coach Nick Saban has announced he contracted coronavirus, only weeks away from his 69th birthday, according to the university.

Alabama also announced its athletic director Greg Byrne has tested positive for the virus. The team's offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will "oversee operations" while Saban is on leave.

The team doctor Jimmy Robinson said ''at this point in time" Saban and Byrne are the only two people within the program to test positive for coronavirus.
