Police in Maryland arrested a man after he refused to wear a face mask at a polling place.
CBS Baltimore reported that the incident occurred Monday in Harford County, which sits just outside of Baltimore. Daniel Swain, 52, and another man would not put on face masks and refused to cast their votes in an area designated for people who could not, or would not, wear one.
The other man eventually complied, but Swain continued to disobey orders and was arrested after speaking with deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office for about 30 minutes.
"It was clear there were no other options," the sheriff's office said.
According to WorldoMeter, nearly 130,000 Marylanders are currently infected with COVID-19.
